POEM – Illegal Immigrants
I cross ocean,
poor and broke,
Take bus,
see employment folk.
Nice man
treat me good in there,
Say I need
go see Welfare.
Welfare say,
“You come no more,
We send cash
right to your door.”
Welfare checks,
they make you wealthy,
Medicaid
it keep you healthy!
By and by,
Got plenty money,
Thanks to you,
TAXPAYER dummy.
Write to friends
in motherland,
Tell them
‘come, fast as you can’
They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,
I buy big house
with welfare bucks.
They come here,
we live together,
More welfare checks,
it gets better!
Fourteen families,
they moving in,
But neighbor’s patience
wearing thin.
Finally, white guy
moves away,
. .
I buy his house,
and then I say,
“Find more aliens
for house to rent.”
In my yard
I put a tent.
Send for family
they just trash,
…
But they, too,
draw welfare cash!
Everything is
very good,
Soon we own
whole neighborhood.
We have hobby
it called breeding,
Welfare pay
for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!
TAXPAYER crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.
We think America
darn good place!
Too darn good
for white man race.
If they no like us,
they can scram,
Got lots of room
in Pakistan.
SEND THIS TO EVERY
TAXPAYER YOU KNOW

Wow. I just happened to click on “poem” to see some flower-y poem and I read this and had to laugh out loud! You know, LOL.
I used to work in the welfare to work sector. My job was to recruit those who were on welfare for a certain amount of time into skills training jobs or to place them in jobs so they could earn a portion of their welfare check. What a pain in the ass that job was.

that was hilarious, I really liked that poem, very creative, but what happens when the “white people” leave because of them being overrun?

Well I read this and thought, “Wow what a RACIST poem”! If you are really that pissed why don’t you give those people the best jobs with the best pay? Then they won’t take your welfare money. By the way anyone in the world can go and live wherever they wish. It’s a human right number 13
“Freedom to move. We all have the right to go where we want in our own country and to travel as we wish.” Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Abridged Version).
So I hope if you ever go to live in Pakistan in this life or in another future life you get the same reception as you are giving them right now! People with attitudes like yours get nowhere in life. Good luck (you will need it).

Why do you think it racisit to speak the truth. Everytime somebody says something… its racist.
Bull. This is life you bleeding heart liberal. If it were your job or your property being taken by these people who immagrate from some 3rd world nation you would be singing a different tune.
We need to limit immagration. No more free-loaders.

Thank you for reading the poem. At the least it stirred you. What more can a writer ask from his reader.
If I ever find myself in India I will thank of you.

Well, even though my job in the welfare community was a pain in the ass, welfare doesn’t really allow its recipients to like like Kings. Basically, with the economy being as it is, the playing field is actually levelled. Families are having to move in with one another because of home foreclosures, job losses, etc.
And also, Pakistan and India are enjoying a great shift in their economy, jobs are very plentiful, especially in the call centers and technological fields. India has been trying to get their people back from the US to go back home to share in its newfound economy.
Just wondering….did you lose your job and had your place taken my an immigrant? Have you lost your home?
And you must admit, you poem, however clever, does simplify the issue. Lots of Americans don’t want to work for 8.00 an hour. It’s a fact.

to get a kick start into my…
adventure, but my own momentum isn’t enough to get toward what I see. So I pray for a miracle, maybe even a raven or something, to pick me by my stem and drop me next to her side. Luckily, I catch…

An attention-grabbing dialogue is price comment. I believe that it’s best to write extra on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but typically people are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
